3-D Polar Bear Craft from our friends at C.R.A.F.T.
What kid doesn’t love playing with shaving cream? It can certainly make winter crafts a whole lot of messy fun! This project is a sure winner and can be done with any age.
First read the book, Polar Bear, Polar Bear What do you Hear? Discuss where polar bears live? What they eat? Why does their fur look white? National Geographic for Kids has a lot of great information.
Then it is time to make a polar bear!
Materials: Shaving cream, glue, batting, 2 face pads, 2 googly eyes, black craft ball, paper plate
To make the 3D puff paint:
Add equal-ish parts of shaving cream and glue in a large mixing bowl. Add a handful of batting to the bowl to give the polar bear texture. Spoon on to paper plate and add accessories. We used 2 face pads for the ears, 2 googly eyes, and a black craft ball for the nose.
